Started on the gantry, made some last minute changes. After its built i dont have any good way of machining it if i need to so im trying to get all mounting holes etc made before it gets welded togheter.

Tacked up the rest of the frame, when this is fully welded and filled with sand i will start working on the gantry.

Old energy chain im hoping to reuse in this project for x and y axis. All cabel will run in the same chain hope i dont get any trouble with interferance altough thhis is begging for it.

It aint easy to get everything aligned right with just 2 hands but i keep working on the frame.

Mounted on rubber the frame not sits on the stand.

The brushed servo i will be using for the x axis, i will probably buy another one for the y axis and z will be driven by a stepper motor.

Painted the underside of the frame his will not be that easy to get to from now on.

Started to machine the steel pipe that the x axis rails and screws will mount to. The rails have mounting holes every 150mm(poorly spaced), im doubling that with 2 bolts every 75mm. These are 2000mm long that should mean around 50 holes per rail
